Brandy Cream Sauce (GREAT for Beef)

1 T. unsalted butter
½ cup heavy cream
¼ cup brandy
1 T. Dijon mustard
1 T. lemon juice
1 t. thyme
salt and pepper
Saute garlic in the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Stir in cream, brandy, and mustard. Simmer until thickened, 3-4 minutes. Finish sauce with lemon juice, thyme, salt and cayenne. Serve immediately.
