I know there were some issues today with the DAMP chat room.  I was not able to get in myself for awhile, which suxxorz.  Tis the nature of a beta product.  That said keep trying, it is up now but sadly empty.  If you aren't able to get in try after every match/30mins some interval.  I'm taking a little break from DAI to get ready for first strike.  Hope to see ya there!.

As you may or may not be away Origin has been adding some nice new features that include large chat rooms with voice!  As such PC Origin players will be using a chat room I've created to meet, talk and form teams.  To make sure you are on the proper version of Origins you will have to opt in to the beta version of Origins and be updated to the latest version available.  It is recommended that you enable auto updates for Origin.

Simply got to Origin > Application Settings > General >   And under 'Updates' have 'Automatically keep Origin upto date checked.  Under 'Origin Beta Participation'  have 'Update to beta version when available' checked

For those interested in getting into Dragon Age Inquisition's Multiplayer at the earliest opportunity I thought I would link to a short guide on how to do so.  I have confirmed all these steps myself, leading to a Nov 17 7AM Pacific Time Unlock for myself.

The best and easiest guide I found for the process was located on a reddit guide for unlocking Titanfall early.  Although the game is different the process is the same.

Greetings everyone!  It's been pretty interesting to watch this little group grow to nearly 250 people.  And while they may not all be active hopefully when the time comes it'll have helped some people to find others to game with. But onto the buisness at hand.  The Final Countdown to Dragon Age: Inquisition is at hand  at the time of writing it is 10 days 18 hours 16 minutes 57....56...55 well you get the point!

Many of us will want to dive immediately into the single player and not come up for air till we are done  This is understandable and I am tempted to do so myself.  But first lets get a few rounds of multiplayer in!

Lets try to form at least one team for each of the 3 main platforms.  If we can get one for PS3 and X360 that would be awesome but with less people it is obviously less likely.  Also by it's very nature this is a USA/NA centric thing, sorry! 

Teams will not be chosen, merely assigned in sign up order. Place your preferred platform and appropriate username below.  Note if you are signing up for a team or as a latecomer/alternate.

Just a quick reminder that the first meetup for DAMP in ME3's MP will begin in half an hour.  You can find all the relevant info here

To be honest I don't expect more than a handful of people to show up during this time so while I'll be logged into the game and the network feel free to join up but give me a min or two to recognize you are there if on PC and we will get a game going.

A few people suggested and I agreed that we needed a live chat room to both hang out in.  After some searching I decided to make our home on Snoonet  Check out their page for more information and the rules of their server but in short it is a IRC network for redditors

I have two channels register ##DAMP for general discussion and ##DAMPLFG that is strictly for finding groups only no casual chitchat allowed.   Things will probably be quiet for sometime but feel free to come hang out!  Just remember that our group rules apply to the chat as well.

Multiplayer gaming has always been about the more the merrier so hopefully this group will take off and get a following.  You can help by adding a link to the group in your forum signature and mentioning and linking to the group as appropriate on the forums.  An obvious example would be someone asking for playernames to find more people to play with.
